Elaine Terranova has written a fascinating memoir of her life growing up as the daughter of a diamond cutter on Jewelers Row in Philadelphia. She'll read selections from The Diamond Cutter's Daughter. Carol Vallone Mitchell grew up in Stratford, her parents Jack Becker were library trustees for many years, and has written two excellent books on workplace relationships, the latest being Collaboration Code.
